WordPress Weather Plugin

Too many people to count have emailed me asking where I got the weather plugin that I’ve displayed over there in my side menu. I’ve responded to each and every single one of them – but, I figure because of the popularity of this script – - I’d make a post and provide the link.

So here it is

I did, however, edit the weather.php script to change how it’s displayed on my site, because I don’t like those list item bullets!

  1. Thanks Lisa :) It’s a cool script!

  2. This is too funny… I had started to email you earlier today to ask about that script and then decided to look around WordPress Wikipedia and see if it was public. Got rid of the list tags in weather.php and it works great!

  4. So funny, you said it twice! lol

    Glad to help, Rob :)

  5. Is it just me or are others having a problem with the weather code updating? Mine reads that it’s 66 degrees here but it’s not … LOL. It’s 77 ;) It did get the cloudy party right though :)

  6. I guess it depends on where it draws it’s information from? Mine has been pretty consistent with weather.com about 85% of the time.

  7. Hiya Lisa – well, I just came back from lunch and the temp is right on the blog now .. LOL. Maybe it just takes an hour or so for it to update :) No bigs … the thing is so cute, I’d leave it up even if it said “sunny” when I knew it was snowing like crazy outside

  8. Did you say snow? You DID!! Oh how you torment me! LOL

I do love the weather plugin, too – it is darned cute.

  9. *G*! “Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow”

  10. I actually prefere the use of this service – It really kicks some butt. Probably the nicest Weather Plugin on the internet. The integration is so easy a kid could do it!
