My word for the day: Pedantic.

1. ostentatious in one’s learning.
2. overly concerned with minute details or formalisms, esp. in teaching.

    The word Pedantical always makes me think of that song from CATS… Jellicle Cats.

    Pendantic is a great word… CATS is an even greater musical. I’ve seen it twice.. once in Chicago and once on Broadway — just phenomenal!
