Pay me to chat

I was contacted a few weeks ago by the folks at Harris Interactive to participate in a moderated discusison about emerging web technologies. Basically, it’s a Q&A online discussion that they are conducting for market research purposes. They found me via E.Webscapes – dropped me an email and asked if I would be interested in participating in the A part of the Q&A – - and they’d pay me to do it. With dollar signs attached and the opportunity to talk about a subject that I love and am totally obsessed with – - of course I agreed! One hour a day for three days, answering questions and queries about everything from emerging blog technology, connecting mobile technology to the web and other bits from my obsession. Today was day two – - tomorrow is the last day, then they cut the check.

I could do this every week!

  1. That’s really cool! Where is the Q&A on the site?

  2. Thanks, Lindsey! Unfortunately, they don’t publish the Q&A publically until it’s all over.. so it’s not a public forum at all – - it’s all password protected and available to the folks who have been given access. When the results are finally posted, though – I’ll post the link :)

  3. I hope they ask you to do it more often! Although with you leading seminars and having speaking engagements and junk, I would miss your hands-on designs. You are the best, you know. (I think that’s caught on.)

    ^:)^

  4. Yea, but..will you pay me to chat with you?? =))
