Just curious – - but I thought Michael Moore WANTED Kerry to win???

The Michigan Republican Party is asking four county prosecutors to file charges against filmmaker Michael Moore, charging that he illegally offered underwear, noodles and snacks to college students in exchange for their promise to vote

…. to say nothing of bartering for votes. Next thing you know, he’ll be up here in Milwaukee giving ciggs to the homeless in exchange for a Kerry vote.

Pfft.

Re-reads the article .. I HOPE he wasn’t planning on giving away HIS underwear?!?

  1. I bet his undies are icky – - no breakfast for me this morning after reading this

  2. Aww, UG – you don’t like the thought of Moore’s panties?

Ugh, I can’t even say that without cringing.

  3. Ewww. Glad to hear ramen hasn’t gone out of style with the college crowd, though!

  4. I lived on ramens in college!

But the thought of Ramen’s with Michael Moore’s underwear leaves me queasy!

  5. I tried to come up with some sort of “surf and turf” reference but couldn’t think of anything good.

  6. Way back when I was innocent and naive I worked at a small law firm in a small town. One day, the phone rang and there was a heavy breather on the line (sometimes this happened) and after breathing for a couple seconds, an eerie male voice says, “Can I have your panties when you’re done with them?” I stuttered around and finally hung up on him. (Remember, I was naive and innocent.)

Now I could just say “Go see Michael Moore, you don’t need mine.”

  7. That’s just EW.

It DOES say they are “clean” underwear… clean according to who?

  8. Bribing college students with beer would have been far more effective.

  9. Of course, Moore is all upset: Link

  10. He came to my university last thursday and had to leave early because of a huge amount of protesters and they were concerned about his safety.
    My school is majority republican.

  11. Well, since it is not illegal to offer food to get someone to vote, only to pay someone to vote a particular way, I suspect that the Republican case won’t go very far.

I’m not surprise that the Republicans are trying to get him thrown off campuses. Republicanism only thrives when the truth is hidden.
