GoogleBomb

The blogging community is a great place. When they want a google bomb to succeed – they do it. Many (conservative) bloggers have participated in the waffles Googlebomb.

What is a Googlebomb? It’s basically when you take a keyword and associate it with a link. The Google bots cache the information – and pretty soon, when you put that keyword into Google’s search engine – you get the associated link as the first hit.

Take the word “Waffles”. Bloggers have placed that word on their site and associated it with John Kerry’s website. Put the word in your Google search engine – what’s the first link that came up? It’s small…but a success, nonetheless.
