Double Whammy

I have a double concert tonight.

My daughters choir concert is at 6:00.

Her Orchestra concert is at 7:00.

The choir concert is at her school. The orchestra concert is in a concert hall all the way across town.

Is it too much to ask these music directors to coordinate their schedules better???

    Apparently, it is. Geepers. What we have here is a failure to communicate!

    (Or, as I say it: “Whut we hay-uv heah — is a fayl-yur to co-myun-i-kate!”)

    Damn. Accents are hard to reproduce in flat type, huh? Heh.

    They could be in the same room at the same time. Would that be worse or better? (It would certainly illustrate the problem for everyone).
