		<description>I had to try the pumpkin mascarpone pie, so I made it today (along with roasted asparagus and blue fin sea bass topped with tapenade and roasted red, yellow, and orange peppers).  It&#039;s a great pie.  It&#039;s not so dense like the normal pumpkin pie, and has almost a custard texture to it.  The mascarpone really lightens it up and also gives it a touch of richness.  Best of all, it&#039;s easy as can be (if you have an electric mixer, without one it&#039;d be a little more work).  The only downside to it that I can see is if you want to do the pie cutting cheat beforehand where you flip it upside down, cut the pieces, and then put it back in the pan you don&#039;t have a chance.  I&#039;m not sure there&#039;s a way to get nice neat pieces out of the pie pan with this pie.</description>

I just pulled the pumpkin pie out of the oven and have about 30 more minutes to let the peacan pie cook.  Then I need to put the apple crumb pie in and I&#039;ll be all done with pies (and will move onto setting up your new design this evening) - I&#039;m on a roll.. W00t!</description>

For us, we kept Thanksgiving completely open because the baby is coming by the end of the month and we weren&#039;t sure if we were going to spend it at the hospital or not (there was a chance she was going to be induced today).  Personally, I&#039;m pretty sure it has a little time left.  If it were close it would have made its presence known last night when I went about an hour away drinking with a friend...</description>
