Question:
If you could do ______ all over again…
would you?
It’s hard to say. At this point in my life, I don’t feel like I have any regrets.
Of course, that doesn’t mean to say that I haven’t made mistakes in my lifetime – of course I have. Would I do them over, however?? Probably not. I’m a firm believer that all experiences – - good or bad, make up the whole person that you are today. Since I’m pretty happy and comfortable with who I am today – I’d be hard pressed to say that I’d do anything over again.
Although, back in 1985 – - during the State Speed Skating tournement…if I could do that one over again – I would have made sure to check my laces before beginning the race! I had the lead in the very last lap – - I was rounding the last turn and the one in second place was a good 20 feet behind me. Heading into that last turn, the laces on my right skate dangled to the ground and slid underneath the blade. I fell head over ass and back again…slid into the railing and bruised my nose pretty bad.
I coulda been a contender!!
I don’t know, had you won you might have pursued that career in the Ice Capades and your life would’ve been totally diferent.

I could just see me now in some production of Beauty and the Beast on ice! Good thing I lost that race!!
